I must say, Mel Gibson looks old, but I'm glad he's back. Edge of Darkness is the great comeback for a guy who rocked the movie industry world, directing controversial movies and going anti-everything in his remarks. I don't know why he quit acting, he was great and definitely made a lot of money with films like Lethal Weapon, Signs, Braveheart, Payback, Mad Max.
Mel Gibson can play anything, from funny to romantic, bad guy to hero, but I think such roles - Mad Max style - suits him perfectly.
I'm a guy with nothin to lose! - that's right, the perfect role for Mel Gibson, his somehow crazy eyes spiel can convince anybody that he means serious business.
In Edge of Darkness, as homicide detective Thomas Craven investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.
Edge of Darkness is a strong thriller, with some good and violent action scenes, take a look at the 720p / 1080p trailers, you'll understand.
for Mel Gibson fans, this is a must-have blu-ray movie.
