I love a good vengeance story and Law Abiding Citizen is definitely one of the best, or should I say the coldest vengeance movies I've seen. If you're into this movie genre, then you know Death Sentence or A man apart.
It looks like Gerard Butler is just getting warmed up with his Hollywood career, such roles like the one in Law abiding citizen suits him best, just like his other recent hit, Gamer, he can easily deliver an one-man-army show. Remember 300?
A brilliant man (Gerard Butler) orchestrates a series of high-profile murders that grip the city of Philadelphia - all from inside his jail cell, ten years after his wife and daughter are brutally murdered. The prosecutor assigned to his case, who prosecuted the case against their killers, realizes he is the only one who can end the reign of terror.
The prosecutor is no other then the Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx, another Hollywood bad boy (Miami Vice, Collateral, Any given sunday), who also tried his luck in the music business, as an Rn'B artist. I must say, I love his work and his dedication. He won the Oscar for his role in Ray (the Ray Charles biography movie), and that says a lot.

The 720p and 1080p trailers are incendiary.
