Avatar in HD 720p - magnificent James Cameron movie

Yeah, I love movies like Avatar, they really get your imagination going. A new world, an interesting race, a cool future, I can only remember the good times when I read for the first time the Dune books. I was like 16 and very much sucked in the Atreides and desert freemen word.

I hope Avatar will have the same effect on me, only to judge from the beatiful HD 720p trailers. this movie is predestined to be a major box-office hit, best seen in IMAX on on Blu-Ray, don't miss it.



Avatar will be released December 17, 2009, so quite soon. I don't know about the Blu-Ray, but I certainly hope they are going to release a lengthty James Cameron Director's Cut, with all the important extra footage and deleted scenes.

For sure there will be also a Avatar Game, to our delight.



If you wonder who the beautiful alien female is, her name is Zoe Saldana, you all know her from Star Trek.



In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran (Sam Worthington from Terminator 4), is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture.

Up In The Air 720p - George Clooney's shot to Oscars

After the Oscar won for Syriana and the nomination for Michael Clayton, could Up in the air be the next ticket to a Academy Awards nomination for our very prolific actor and women's heartthrob George Clooney?

yeah, who knows really, maybe they will think this is just a masterful comedy and not even take into consideration. Or maybe they won't find that many good movies out there worth mentioning and someone will vote Up in the Air.

George Clooney plays a frequent flyer, his life is in one suitcase and his job is to travel around the country and fire people. Between the flights and the hotel room, he only meets the people he has to fire and some random short-lived dates with women he meets at the airport.

The time he spends at home in his appartment is considered as very boring and a big problem in his life.

Everything changes when the company decides to start firing people over the internet. lol. His life has no meaning anymore. But then he meets someone...

Check out the 720p HD Trailers, Up in the Air is going to be a big hit, a modern existential comedy that only Clooney with his classy acting can carry.

The Hangover UNRATED 720p BluRay x264-REFiNED

I actually forgot about The Hangover movie, and that's a bad thing because this movie is amazingly smart and funny. You will laugh and laugh, the characters are so believable and well portrayed, the script is very clever and well put to the screen.

It's enough to watch the lion scene or the Mike Tyson scene, you'll understand what I'm saying. So yes, I've seen Hangover a few months ago in theaters, but it's really no problem to watch it again in bluray.

So four best buddies go to las vegas to have a bachelor party. this goes really terribly wrong, they lose the about-to-be-wed buddy but they don't remember the next day nothing about what happened. But they find themselves either married or with a baby on their hands, or with a lion in the bathroom.

Gamer 720p BluRay x264-iNFAMOUS

Finally a new iNFAMOUS 720p BluRay Release, the action packed movie Gamer.

it's actually a lot of fun watching Gerard Butler in action. He is the right guy for it, he trained really hard to look the part in 300, and now a few years and pounds later, he can still fully deliver a strong and convincing kick-ass bad-boy action hero. Really, you don't want to mess with this guy.

So check out this great release, the movie is great, nonstop action. We talked a lot of Gerard Butler's other type of movies - the romantic ones, The Ugly Truth for example.

Green Zone - Matt Damon in 720p-1080p BluRay

You still think Irak owned the A bomb? I don't, and after you'll see Green Zone with Matt Damon you might change your opinion.

Matt Damon lost the weight he gained for the Informant, he's in his natural element in Green Zone, this is like a Bourne movie, but filmed in Irak. Go figure, the director is no other then Paul Greengrass, he directed (big surprise here) all Bourne movies...

But don't get me wrong, this is a good thing, I like Matt Damon's acting and his Bourne hero/black op/deadly style, so really I'm looking forward to seeing Green Zone, it's going to be a lot of fun. Especially after I saw the 720p/2080p HD trailers (links section), the action scenes are amazing.

Discovering covert and faulty intelligence causes a U.S. Army officer Roy Miller (Matt Damon) to go rogue as he hunts for Weapons of Mass Destruction in an unstable Iraki region.

Release date for green zone is 12 March 2010, I'm hoping that the BluRay release will follow soon.

Gamer 720p BluRay 1080p Gerard Butler

Some live to play, others play to live. Interesting concept in the Gamer, the new Gerard Butler's action-packed movie.

This guy is very prolific and is to be admired, he started with small roles, I was lucky enough to see Dear Frankie, did some very interesting work in Reign of Fire or Timeline, then hit the jackpot with 300. From there on out, it was easy to get good roles. Not only action movies, but all kinds of movies. Should I mention "P.S. I love you"? very memorable. or the thriller "butterfly on a wheel"?

Just weeks ago I wrote about The ugly truth, now we're taking about the Gamer, and when we will get the chance to experience the movie in bluray 720p 1080p quality. I hope soon enough, the HD Trailers look fantastic.

So imagine playing counterstrike, but instead of knowing that the game exists only inside your computer, you are able to control a real human beeing to play the deadly game. So not like in CS, when you die, you only lose the game and you can pop up back happily in the next round, this time around your hero is actually losing real blood and can die if you're not good enough.

Is this a game you are willing to pay a lot of money to play with in the future? I'm sure I don't, I mean I had my fair share of cs and quake as teenager, but it was clear to me that it is only a virtual game, meant only for fun.

Controlling people and having fun seeing them getting killed for no reason can be appealing for some deranged minds, a similar idea we see also in the new Bruce Willis movie, Surrogates.

Everything is possible in the future, the human mind is very creative and I'm sure that technology will advance very quickly in years to come. I just hope the new discoveries and inventions will be put to good use and not for distructive purposes.



Gamer is worth having in your bluray collection. If you need convincing, just take a look at the 720p/1080p trailers. nonstop action, nonstop special effects, exactly what your big HD TV set needs.

The Book of Eli - in BluRay 720p or 1080p

A very different but cool Denzel Washington plays the lone fighter in The Book of Eli.

Trust me, this movie will be a major box office hit, judging on by the 720p and 1080p trailers. The book of Eli will come in theaters January 15, 2010, so still a few months away, but I can't wait to get the BluRay for it.

So Denzel has a very precious Book with him, in a world where everything was destroyed, a big cataclysmic disaster, maybe atomic bomb?
He has a lot of enemies and they want this Eli Book very badly...

Of course they fight, Gary Oldman is here the very bad guy (like when he ever played to good guy) and he sends everything he got after our hero.

The fight scenes are really violent, that's why the movie was R rated, but somehow there is a very strong religious symbolism and meanings to it.

We're problably in for a surprise ending, but everybody like surprises.

In case you wonder who's playing on the soundtrack, it's the Leakybrain - Centaur from X-Ray Dog - Feed The Beast. You can hear on the second HD trailer.



Denzel Washington is a very prolific actor, but also one of the best, so this is a good thing. I'm sure you know The taking of perlham 1 2 3, American Gangster, all good movies, your bluray collection worth.

The Book of Eli director is Albert Hughes and he delivers here a great sci fi cyber punk thriller like you've never seen before.

Mila Kunis we all know from Max Payne, she's hot even in this post-apocalyptic world.

Bad Lieutenant Port Call New Orleans BluRay 720p 1080p

Oh man, Nicolas Cage is getting old, he looks really bad in Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. He has a very uninspired hairstylist, that's for sure. Is that a hunchback? Unbelievable, when I watched the 720p and 1080p Trailers, I really wished I didn't see all that with such clarity. The movie poster is probably a photoshop masterpiece.

I'm sure that the movie Bad Lieutenant is good, Nicolas Cage can still act. Remember Matchstick Men?
The story promises a lot, a good cop turning bad cop under very curious circumstances.

Terence McDonagh is a drug- and gambling-addled detective in post-Katrina New Orleans investigating the killing of five Senegalese immigrants.

I find this picture very funny, Hollywood studs after 10 years:



Anyway, looking forward to see this movie in BluRay, Eva Mendez is still young and very much good looking. The DVD and Blu-Ray will be out February 23, 2010.
