2012 Who will survive Bluray 720p 1080p special effects

The End is just the Beginning. Wow! just saw the 2012 HD Trailer, actually all of them, the teaser trailer in 720p, the theatrical trailer in 1080p, the extended scene in 1080p and listened to the great Adam Lambert music Time for miracles.

I suggest you do the same, and be in theaters on November 13. This movie called 2012, after the year when earth and humanity as we know it is going to disappear, is adrenaline pure, you will stay on the edge of your seat the whole time, not wanting to believe that such cataclysmic events can be possible.

This film had a budget the size of a small country, 260 million bucks. Is this a lot of money or what? John Cusack, who's the main hero in 2012, must've made a fortune with this one. lucky guy!

But the biggest chunk of money was definitely spent on the special effects. These are unbelievable. That's why they invented the bluray technology and the big full HD TVs, so that you can marvel at the magnificent power of destruction depicted in the movie.

Imagine the Himalaya mountains hit by a giant ocean wave. Can you? The director Roland Emmerich certainly can.





There are a lot of scary disaster movies out there: Knowing, Cloverfield, Day after tomorrow, but 2012 promises to be something much much better.

Heat 1995 720p BluRay x264-HDCLASSiCS

How many times did I see Heat? don't know anymore, but I watched this movie again in BluRay 720p. Heat never gets old, this is a masterpiece, and 2 of the greatest actors of all times, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, actually the third actor as well, Val Kilmer, but he is in a secondary role this time.

There are actually only 3 films out there, where Pacino and De Niro agreed to play together. The Godfather, Heat and Righteous Kill. Rumors say that De Niro and Pacino never stood face to face during filming the Heat, but they filmed the scenes separately. There were never a great friendship between the two, but for Righteous Kill I think getting so much money convinced them to let the personal issues aside.

Anyway, doesn't really matter, they did a very professional job in Heat, so having this in Bluray is a must, especially this HDCLASSiCS BluRay 720p Release.

A Los Angeles crime saga, "Heat" focuses on the lives of two men on opposite sides of the law - one a detective; the other a thief.

These guys... really, did you read the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince book? It's not easy to believe the new Harry Potter movie, the actors are much older than you would expect, but what the heck, they can't film that fast. Daniel Radcliffe is like 20 years old.

Fun movie - not even close to realistic, but fun.

I watched this film last night and luckily I had no high expectations. As a fan of the G.I Joe toys when I was a kid (back then they where called Action Force) I had a good idea of the characters and story before hand. I am glad to say this film stayed true to most of the original concepts with a few tweaks for the better here and there.

I'm okay with going a movie just for the special effects, but even that is sub-par. The martial arts choreography is good, and stunning in one scene. The practical effects are believable, but the computer graphics are mostly cartoonish and detract from the visual impact of the film, so its hard to say go see it even if your standard for a good movie is if they blow stuff up in new and interesting ways.

The Ugly Truth - when in BluRay 720p 1080p

I must say, I'm not really into romantic comedies, I watched The Ugly Truth only for my wife, but really, you need to know, this movie is hilarious, I laughed the whole time, The Ugly Truth is really a masterpiece, they're making it better and better these days. It was no bluray, no 720p or 1080p quality, it was only a private screening, but it was enough for the moment.

Last week I thought The Proposal is good, and it still is, but this film is ten times better.

A romantically challenged morning show producer (Katherine Heigl) is reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent (Gerard Butler) to prove his theories on relationships and help her find love. His clever ploys, however, lead to an unexpected result.

Gerard Butler is perfect for such a role, every woman can confirm that, he's the alpha dog, the raw male, basic instinct type. Katherine Heigl is hot, blonde and smart. The chemistry is there, the dialogues are spicy, and the funny moments are countless.

Red Cliff - the new amazing John Woo Bluray 720p 1080p

I will definitely like Red Cliff in Bluray 720p, the new asian martial arts John Woo movie.

In 208 A.D., in the ancient China, in the final days of the Han Dynasty, shrewd Prime Minster Cao Cao convinced the Emperor Han the only way to unite all of China was to declare war on the kingdoms of Xu in the west and East Wu in the south. Thus began a military campaign of unprecedented scale, led by the Prime Minister, himself. Left with no other hope for survival, the kingdoms of Xu and East Wu formed an unlikely alliance. Numerous battles of strength and wit ensued, both on land and on water, eventually culminating in the battle of Red Cliff (Chi Bi). During the battle, two thousand ships were burned, and the course of Chinese history was changed forever.

This movie is based on real events. Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro, two actors very much present in almost every good asian movie.

John Woo really outdid himself here, the story is really good, the visual effects are great (so watch it in bluray).

The movie will come in theaters November 20, 2009. The Blu-Ray around Christmas.

A new ESiR 720p BluRay release, this time the great 2006 animation movie Cars. my son watches Cars like every month, never gets tired of it, and sometimes I watch the movie with him, very funny stuff.

Cars was actually nominated for 2 Oscars, for the best animated movie of the year.
if you wonder why, don't. The voices are Owen Wilson - Lightning McQueen and the late Paul Newman, as Doc Hudson.

The image quality it's perfect (yeah it's bluray), but that's normal with all Pixar films.

Sam Raimi manages to incorporate genuine thrills and terror using the old-fashioned format of surprise, misdirection and suggestion. As a frequent viewer of horror films, little surprises me, but in this film I was caught off-guard several times while watching it.

Cloverfield is a very original film, I remember first time I saw the trailer I said "OMG what the f*ck just happened". I'm not going to tell you about the story, only that is mindblowing. This movie was made with low budget, unknown actors, but with a really good story. They changed the set locations and the movie name a lot, and the hype created around the film was amazing.

But better check out the Cloverfield 720p trailers, that will leave an impression...

Great movie, great 720p BluRay release from ESiR, Kill Bill 1 is a movie you don't want to miss, I'm sure you all seen it at the time in 2003, one of Tarantino's (still) good movies.

Kill Bill was kind of a new concept, with Uma Thurman playing the avenging Bride with lot of deadly weapons and martial arts skills, searching for her mentor who betrayed her and tried to assasinate her.

Bill is David Carradine (who died recently in suspicious conditions), Michael Madsen (a regular Tarantino actor) make this movie a real treat for the viewers.
