my favorite Hugh Jackman movie and one of the best film of all times, the prestige is number 82 in the IMDb top 250 movies. And that says a lot about the movie qualities and why you definitely need to own this in a future safe video standard like bluray.
I really took the time, after I saw the movie starring Christian Bale (again, this guy is a wonder like in 3:10 to Yuma) and Hugh Jackman, to read the Christopher Priest's Novel with the same name, the Prestige, to see if the mindblowing story was the same in the book as put into images from the director Christopher Nolan.
And I couldn't decide which story is more disturbing. This is probably also for you to decide: see the movie, read the book (it has only 100 pages and so), will win a lot of knowledge about the different aspects of the story.
