I totally forgot about Batman: Dark Knight, with the whole Heath Ledger sad story and all. This great Batman movie definitely should be in your bluray collection, especially because it's a perfect Full HD 1080p release (from CINEFILE). Check out the ratings and reviews Dark Knight received, won 2 Oscars, another 72 wins & 57 nominations.
Of course, the Heath Ledger's death caused all the hype and attention, but still the movie is a masterpiece, watching the Joker doing his crazy play is worth all the money. it's enough to watch a scene, the one when the Joker blows up the hospital, to watch his face and gestures, to fully understand why heath ledger was a genius actor and how many future great movies we lost with his stupid death.
Anyway, his work remains for eternity, along with other fine movies like A Knight's tale, Casanova or Brokeback Mountain.
Christian Bale plays also one of his standard roles, (he is one of my favorite actors out there), he was better in Batman begins, and definitely much better in The Prestige.
