so this is the sequel, if you haven't seen Pitch Black, go do that asap, it's a movie that worths the money you pay for the bluray.
A very well thought-out plot, excellent character development, immersive sets, and great special effects. you will stay absolutely glued to the screen. It's like a roller coaster ride, and doesn't let you off, until the ride is over. A performance from Vin Diesel, one of his best ever, not to mention he also produced this movie. The Chronicles of Riddick is a good story, worth bringing it to life.

Did I mention this BluRay Release in 720p from FLAWL3SS is the Director's Cut Version? Get this one, it's uncut, more violent, not so toned down like the PG13 Theatrical Cut. Here some scenes you will find diferrent:
- All fight scenes in the Crematoria prison
- All Shira / Furya scenes
- Alternate ending with final narration from Aereon
- The entire "one step, one kill" fight on the Crematoria surface has had its sound removed due to violence
- Vakko's and Dame Vakko's love scene is shortened / mostly cut
