Only hot chicks in this movie, Ali Larter (we all know her from Heroes), Ashanti (the Murder Inc Ja Rule girl) and of course Milla Jovovich. What this tells us? This is the extinction of the Resident Evil saga, the first one was actually quite good and fresh, second one started already to be quite ‘yeah right’ unbelievable. I mean, who can believe that Jovovich can beat a metal robot monster, 3 times her size?

The story is similar to that of 28 Days/Weeks Later, there is a virus out of control, and mutates humans into flesh chomping zombies, spreading mayhem worldwide. Human survivors are few and far between. Gore and blood everywhere.
